Suttle Tea in Sisters, Oregon has graciously offered to host a fundraiser on June 20th, 2025 to assist with the medical needs of vulnerable children in Uganda.
Sponsorship of students for $42/month helps provide a quality education at one of our partner schools, uniforms, shoes and meals at school. Hope Africa also provides medical care for children, but this is usually above and beyond what sponsorship is able to cover. While there is government health care, the hospitals are crowded and medications are not available. As a result, Hope Africa hired a nurse, Jacob Sande, to treat the basic needs of the children. If a child's health concerns are beyond his abilities, he refers them to a private clinic where they can receive sufficient care. Jacob was a sponsored child with Hope Africa International and suffered for many years with ulcers. He knows the value of early intervention in medical issues and the value of children knowing they are loved and accepted.
Jacob says, "I don't just treat the children's ailments. I pray for them and encourage them. I want every child to know that being part of Hope Africa is being loved."
Our fundraising goal is $5000 which provides for medical care for 385 sponsored children who otherwise would not have access to quality medical care. This is what $5000 covers:
Your donations will help to keep children healthy and thriving so they may reach their full potential!

Thank you for investing in Uganda's next generation!
